My final zine for my CAD project. 'Converse: Converge' has been created by transferring my in design pages onto fabric transfer paper and then using a heat press to transfer the image onto this cotton fabric. The zine consists of 12 pages about Converse shoes including the history of manufacture, adverts, competitions and other articles. The fabric gives the zine a much more tactile feel than just simply printing it onto good quality paper. As Converse are often 'rough around the edges' and well worn I have tried to transfer this into my zine; leaving slightly frayed fabric around the edges and giving it a definite handmade feel.
